2 months till DC. I'm really looking forward for this trip! We've started to plan a schedule, but nothing too "firm" so if paddle boating around Tidal Basin takes too long, it's not a major crisis or anything. And besides, we'll be there a good 6 days. We schedule a flight that leaves Memphis at a decent time. 9am flight time is a lot nicer than a 6am flight. You get 2 more hours of sleep. Getting up at 3:30 for a 6am flight makes for a long day. I'm not sure I'll ever do that again. My only concern is Atlanta's airport, which is where we have an hour layover. Everyone I've told that to has only had horror stories for me. With all the traveling I've done, if I can manage to change terminals in O'Hare airport in Chicago on a busy travel morning with a 40 minute layover, I'm pretty sure we can handle the ATL. And we'll be sure to take LOTS of pictures, so no worries there.
I've decided that I'm just going to have to make the most of life at the office. Things this week have actually been pretty good. Nice and quiet. No problems. But, that prolly won't last for long so there's no need to get used to that. I have to make the most of it so I can keep my customers the main priority. They all have seem to find money somewhere in their budget. They keep calling and ordering. Not that I'm complaining. It keeps me busy, which is a good thing. With in the last 6-8 weeks, I've had about $12,000-$14,000 in sales. OH how I wish I could get just a little bit of that commission. But, it goes back to the office. At this point, a raise would be nice. But, hell could freeze first lol. I did email my resume to a few places this week but never heard back. It SUCKS but, I know that God has something big planned for me. And so, I'll keep sending my resume out and I'll just keep praying. Please keep praying for me as well. Prayer works.
